Half the Sky Film Screenings in September

Throughout September, Community Cinema will offer free, sneak preview screenings of the new PBS mini-series based on the book Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. Community Cinema is a national public education and civic engagement initiative featuring free monthly screenings of films featured on the Emmy Award-winning PBS series Independent Lens.
